CSSi offers the most comprehensive and robust community-based awareness program to promote clinical trials at the local level. Our Community Awareness Program™ (CAP) assists sites to promote studies at the local level to the target population(s). Our Local Enrollment Specialists ™ (LES) drive the CAP efforts with each site and our level of effort is driven by the needs determined in our enrollment planning. Our LESs can deploy a long list of efforts in increasing awareness of trials around the site – some simple and some more complex. This service can play a critical role in reaching patients and their families who may not respond to traditional or online advertising and has proven to be very successful in creating awareness about trials around the site. The list of touch-points for this service mirror the patient pathway and include everything from the general community where the patient may shop or frequent on a weekly basis, to local advocacy and support groups, as well as local health fairs. We have executed numerous virtual and on-site tactics to raise awareness within local venues. We would be happy to discuss the most appropriate areas and methods for reaching your target patient within their community.
For many studies, developing and maintaining a referral network is an incredibly effective tactic for generating pre-qualified patients to the study site and is part of CSSi’s Community Awareness Program. CSSi works with sites to determine the best outreach tactics to build networks (along with the site’s input) or to work within already established networks. As part of our enrollment plans, we implement numerous tactics to keep the referring site engaged with the trial and looking for potential referrals, including: providing referring physicians with physician and patient materials, outreach to the offices to keep their interest and answer any questions and, in some cases, to set up Lunch and Learns with the investigating physician.
